I am an Assistant Professor of Theoretical and Computational Chemistry of Materials at Charles University in Prague, working within the nanomaterials modelling section headed by Prof. Petr Nachtigall. My research interests lie in integrating concepts and methods between materials science and computational quantum chemistry. This has evolved from both my PhD work on metallic nanoclusters in the group of Roy Johnston at Birmingham University and my Postdoc research in kinetic modelling of heterogeneous catalysts at Chalmers University of Technology.
Apart from research, I enjoy teaching students, as a lecturer in physical chemistry and as the guarantor of a master’s level electronic structure course.
